Greetings & Welcome to Metamorphasis Monday!!
For Christmas I received some skeleton keys as an embellishment on my Christmas gift from my aunt. She knew I had been on the hunt for some. So sweet of her!! My original idea was to place them in a shadow box, but then I changed my mind when I was going through my drawers this weekend and found these frames.....
About a year ago, OK, maybe longer!! I took a couple of outdated frames & primed them with the intention of painting them another color. Well, I am not sure what happened but they have been sitting in one of my many project drawers all this time!!
I painted the frame an oil rubbed bronze color that I had on hand, and then placed a piece of scrap book paper on the backing of the frame. I decided this project needed a bow, so I placed my skeleton keys in a ribbon, tied a bow & hot glued it all down. And, this is what I came up with:
The cost -- Absolutely free!!! I had all the materials already on hand, and now I have a new cute decoration for my home office.
Please stop by to link up with our gracious hostess, Susan at Between Naps on the Porch to take a glance at all of the other fabulous creations.
Have a wonderful Monday.

What a neat way to display your keys. I have some my daughter gave me and I could find a good way to display them. Now if I just could remember where I put them:)
