Flower Arrangement

Instead of doing something productive like laundry or mopping the poor floors that are in desperate need of cleaning, I decided I would rather make something. Because, after all somethings are more important!!

I have had some flower stems laying around about five years or so, and decided to finally create something with them. Yes, they are artificial, but that is OK, I think?? I looked in my collection of empty vases, and found a cute little crystal vase that should be displayed and not hidden in a cabinet waiting for something fresh.

Yeah, I finally got to use my handy, dandy, 15 in 1 Multi Function Tool that my sweet friend Barbara gave me for Christmas. The wire cutter was perfect for cutting those long stems. By the way, not only do I like girly stuff, I also like tools!!

Here is what I came up with...........

I needed something on my bedside table, which is really and end table, and I think this will do for now.

I love to create and repurpose items I currently have on hand. You just cannot beat free embellishments....

Have a great weekend.

Nicole~

What a pretty arrangement and isn't it wonderful to make something so pretty out of something you already have. I love tools too and I have the same one you have. Great tool. Hugs, Marty

You did a fabulous job! I have tried and tried flower arranging but it never turns out well for me, I don't have a knack. Your arrangement is lovely!

Hi Nicole, :)

The flowers came out really pretty!
You did great arranging it.

What a neat tool as well.
My hubby would love it.

Why don't you link this post up with Nancy's Red Party?
I think it has Red in them.

Have a wonderful evening.

Nicole, I had to laugh about doing something creative instead of doing housework. That is so "me"! I can figure out so many ways to avoid housework. Your vase of flowers turned out so pretty. Nobody would ever notice you needed to clean house-they would just be looking at your pretty bouquet! (At least that's what I tell myself when I avoid housework!) laurie

It turned out great! And I know what a bugger those wires can be so it's super nice to have the right tool for the right job! *winks* And that you had them lying around for about five years sounds soo much like me lol! High time for them to come out of hiding and look pretty! Vanna

Nicole,
Your arrangement turned out so pretty. I love silk flowers also. I use them all of the time. I made a pretty 'spring' wreath out of silk flowers a few days ago, out of old flowers that I had bought last year on clearance. I already put it on my front door. I am so ready for spring. Thanks for leaving me the sweet comments.
Hugs,
Lee Laurie
