My Design Dilemma

A friend of mine, Allison, came up with a creative way to help those who are facing design challenges. Every Friday she will post a Design Dilemma on her blog, My Little Happy Place.

I e-mailed her some pictures of my bedroom, which I am having difficulties with. Here was my big challenge for her: I hate that the TV is on an old TV stand that I do not like at all!! I would love to conceal it in a storage piece of some sort that is not too big. Also, I need some sort of window treatment. It is awkward because one side of the window is the adjoining wall & the other side is a closet. Oh yes, the closet doors need some help too!

Here are the pictures I sent to her to work with.

Click here to see her wonderful suggestions for my difficult challenge. Thank you so much Allison for the great ideas!

Have a great weekend!!

Hi Nicole, :)

I just toured the blog with
the suggestions for your room and they are all fantastic!

Your bedroom is gorgeous and I could see you trying some of them out.

Good Luck!
Let us see what you do.
Love your headboard and bedding. Very pretty!

Have a wonderful weekend.

Nicole,
Those are great ideas! I think she is "right on" about the long window treatment, and I love the idea of ditching the TV (sorry) and having a little desk with a cute chair. Can't wait to see what you do! Linda

I LOVE the suggestions she gave you. I was thinking the same thing about a long rod and panels. It would look so elegant. And I know it would be a bummer to give up the tv, but that writing desk would look gorgeous in it's place. Let us know what you decide on.
